Detailed Itinerary
Experience the perfect blend of wildlife exploration, cultural immersion, and conservation education across four unforgettable days.
Day 01 : Arrival at Gwalior – Transfer to Pohari
Upon arrival at Gwalior, you will be picked up in a Taxi vehicle and transferred to Pohari, located near the core safari zones of Kuno National Park.
- Check-in at your selected accommodation by 12:00 PM
- Enjoy lunch at your place of stay
- Head for your first Evening Safari in Kuno National Park
- Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay
Day 02 : Morning & Evening Safaris
Morning and afternoon safaris with wildlife photography sessions and expert naturalist guidance.
- Start the day with morning tea
- Depart for an early Morning Safari in Kuno National Park
- Return for breakfast at your selected accommodation
- Relax and recharge or join an optional photography gear session
- Enjoy lunch, followed by an exciting Evening Safari
- Return for dinner and overnight stay
Day 03 : Wildlife Immersion Continues
Morning safari followed by local village visit and cultural program with conservation education.
- Head out for Morning Safari in a different zone of the park
- Post-safari, return for breakfast
- Relax or explore nearby nature trails (optional)
- After lunch, enjoy your final Evening Safari.
- Return for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04 : Final Safari & Departure
Early morning safari for final wildlife encounters, breakfast, and departure transfer.
- Early morning tea, followed by your last safari drive in Kuno
- Return for breakfast
- Checkout by 11:00 AM from your selected accommodation
- Pickup at 11:30 AM and drop to Gwalior by approx. 1:30 PM

Cheetah Safari — Questions We Get Asked
Will I definitely see a cheetah on this package?
No one can promise a sighting of a free-ranging wild animal, and we will not. What we can do is maximise the odds: six safari sessions rather than one or two, the Ahera zone where our sighting record is strongest, and a driver and naturalist who track cheetah movement daily. Across six drives, most of our guests see cheetahs.
Why six safaris instead of two or three?
Kuno has a large tourism area and each route crosses different habitat — grassland on one drive, woodland and rocky outcrops on another. Six sessions let us cover several routes and both morning and evening light, which is a much bigger jump in what you see than the first drive alone.
Is this package suitable for children?
Yes, and families are a large part of who we take out. The pace is manageable, the driver is used to travelling with children, and the Kuno history session works well for older kids. Bear in mind the morning safari means a very early start, and December and January mornings in an open vehicle are cold.
What happens on arrival day?
We pick you up at Gwalior and drive to Pohari — roughly three to three and a half hours. Check-in is from 12:00 PM. If your arrival is early enough we can usually fit in the evening safari the same day.
Can I add extra safaris?
Yes, subject to permit availability for your dates. Extra safaris are charged separately and are worth booking at the same time as the package, because vehicle numbers per zone per slot are capped.
